The Thrift Lords are an independent hip-hop duo from Houston, Texas, made up of rappers Lord Canti and Lord Mickey. The duo blends a laidback, straight-ahead rap style with vintage, lofi, and vaporwave aesthetics. They are known for projects like their album Lore Has It and singles such as “75 on 610,” “Diamonds & Jade,” and “hoLd That”.
I’ve worked with the duo for a number of years and have changed the pseudonym I have gone by, my previous names were “Rayon 5000” & “Daydream 5000”.
